PowerGems- High-Powered Shortcuts

Credentials:
Diagnosed at 17 with this scourge; delayed by US Air Force doctor from entering service because of it. Dermatologist experimented with then-new fluocinolone acetonide .05% in a petrolatum base, with 15 minutes per day of sun. Three weeks later was sworn into U.S. Air Force at Fort Hamilton in Brooklyn NY.

Recurrence over the years: several times, with varying severity.

Percentage of times effecting remission: 100
BACKGROUND:
Psoriasis and other similar conditions probably have genetic predisposition factor. Manifestation itself is produced by poor stress management, and exacerbated by physical environments that encourage dry skin. Both are reversible, and treatable within minutes, sometimes just seconds.

Psoriasis itself is a form of neurodermatitus, establishing the connection between nerves and inflammation. If you're unwilling to focus on effective stress management, this document is designed to help with physical approaches that produce fast, effective alleviation of this particular misery. Psoriasis also falls into the category of cancer, which is a term used to describe what happens when your body decides to produce healthy cells at too high a rate.

In a nutshell, psoriasis (and some other similar afflictions) is when the body produces too many skin cells. A scratch, tear, or puncture to the skin, rather than producing the normal and expected number of replacement cells, elicits a frantic production at too-high levels. It's that simple. Even the normal 'shedding/replacement' process of skin is often affected by this condition. As always, stress management is the single most influential factor in the disease's appearance. Looking at the two component parts of the word 'disease' should explain it clearly enough.

For those who refuse to manage their stress intelligently, they can expect regular and ongoing bouts with this disruptive, unpleasant skin problem. That's why it has so frequently been referred to as 'the heartbreak of psoriasis." Now comes the good news.

One-conditionally guaranteed cure for psoriasis and similar conditions. The one condition? You must invest a total of one hundred seconds per day into getting rid of the symptoms, and when they disappear, keeping those symptoms away.

-- Keep in mind that moisturizers containing perfumes are bad news. Also, anything containing corticosteroids. No matter what your doctor tells you, steroids are bad news, and produce long-term damage. Not a full minute will be wasted justifying that statement, as it is irrefutably true.

-- Secondly, understand and remember that moisturizers do NOT in any way affect your psoriasis: they can only seal in natural moisture, and that's the entire foundation for this fast-acting, absolutely guaranteed method of treating and measurably reducing, if not eliminating, a disease that formal medicine has never made any true progress on: sealing in natural moisture, incl water.

1) First, wet your skin, with water. Tap water, bottled water, well water, just make sure it's fresh water. Everyone seems to have their own favorite way of doing so. Splashing it on, rubbing it on, soaking it in, just make sure that the affected area is plenty wet, enough for the water to really soak the area.

2) BEFORE YOUR SKIN IS THOROUGHLY DRY rub tiny, repeat tiny amounts of pure vaseline on. The less you use, the better it works. The more you rub it in (up to complete absorption) the better it works. It's important to know that the more you use per application, the less benefit it brings. You will NOT ruin your clothes because your skin is going to absorb all or nearly all of it.

If you have more than a square inch or two of affected area, you'll notice that, by the time you complete the task, the area you started in feels sort of dry again. RIGHT NOW, WHILE IT'S STILL PARTIALLY MOIST, rub another drop or two into that area, again, rubbing it in thoroughly.

NOTE: There are a few products, such as mineral oil or pure suntain oil that contain no perfumes or artificial ingredients that will also work efficiently. Further, most petroleum jelly products are not as pure as the container indicates. We know this because many of them cause the affected area to burn, itch, or otherwise feel uncomfortable. I've found steady success with real Vaseline, made by the company that owns the Vaseline brand of petroleum jelly. Hospital petrolatum is also free of impurities and works very well.

Follow this procedure no less than twice per day. If you have really bad psoriasis, do it three or four or even five times per day. Within a few days, a week at the most, at least eighty percent of your problem will have gone down to little or zero, as you shall soon see for yourself.

Within a far maximum of 15 – 20 days, you will notice that your symptoms are just a bare fraction of what they were at the beginning of the method, at which point you can now go back to doing it just once per day. You can further accelerate the process dramatically, and also put the affliction into total remission with ultraviolet.

Contrary to the claims of scientific ignoramuses who insist that the sun causes premature skin aging and skin cancer, the truth is, the sun causes premature skin aging and skin cancer to skin that is not properly treated. It is a perfect, undeniable fact that the rays of the sun are healthy, curative, energizing, loaded with important vitamins such as E and K... provided that the skin is treated properly.

A) When sunlight is allowed to pour down on dry skin, look out, damage is imminent.

B) When sunlight is poured all over wet, oily skin, it warms, heals, and, good news, cures a whole variety of skin problems. This has been true for thousands of years, and man's pollution of the atmosphere, while not very nice, is not even in the ballpark of altering that never-changing fact.

C) Most people, practicing foolish hygiene methods, come home from a day at the beach, and what's the first thing they do, (often not even waiting until they get home)? That's right, they take a shower. Now here is one really fine example of the exquisite stupidity of the human race, and why skin cancer has gone up: pride goeth before the fall; vanity and convenience supercede health factors.

You see, for the hours that we're out in the sun, the sun is literally cooking the skin, especially when it's properly coated with oils. It's how skin problems are gently cooked off.

NOTE ON SUNBLOCK: Sunblock is needed (initially) only for those with very pale skin. With medium or dark coloring, there is no benefit to sun block, only detriment, because you're preventing the benefits of the ultraviolet rays from going skin deep). All else is commercial hype designed to promote sales of products with artificial, and unhealthy ingredients. Sunlight is wonderfully healthy.

For many years I've used Hawaiian Tropic, or a generic equivalent, containing only natural emollients such as fruit oils when grabbing my five daily minutes of sunshine or a day at the beach

When out in the sun more than a few minutes,, the sun is causing the skin to cook. By no stretch of the imagination should you think that your skin stops cooking when it comes out of the sun. Good way to tell this is to place your hands flat against your sun-exposed skin even three to eight hours after coming out of the sun. You'll invariably find it's still hot to the touch. It's why you get darker and darker in the hours AFTER you come out of the sun than you do while you're in the sun. This is so simple; simple enough, in fact, that we overlook such simplicity in our eagerness to find more complicated reasons, explanations, causes, and excuses, rather than using simple techniques to good and beneficial effect. When we come out of the sun and artificially reduce the skin temperature with a shower and/or air conditioning, we specifically interfere with the natural process of the body, and its desire to cool down gradually; and we all know that it's just not nice to fool Mother Nature, any more than it's wise to fool WITH Mother Nature.

Let your body take its time cooling naturally, over the period of hours it determines on its own. This is much healthier, and goes far in curing the lesions that are the manifestation of psoriasis and several other similar skin conditions.

Yes, yes, your skin is all oily, and its inconvenient. No one says you have to stay completely oily; you can gently wipe, VERY gently wipe excess oil from your skin with a wet washcloth even a few minutes after you come out of the sun. Better to pat the oil off than to actively rub it off.

Ten or more times my psoriases has flared up in particularly stressful times, and ten or more times I've reduced it 90 to 100% within a matter of days simply getting sunshine after wetting and oiling up.

EMERGENCY TREATMENT

Let's face it: there are times when you have what amounts to a skin attack, and most of you psoriasis sufferers know precisely what this means, when the burning and itching are driving you to scratch and scratch, ending up with that horrid burning, and usually bleeding as well.

RELAX – THERE IS AN INSTANT TREATMENT THAT WORKS APPROXIMATELY 100% OF THE TIME, NEVER KNOWN TO FAIL!!!
-- Wet the area and ice it. Immediately. Whether you put ice cubes in a cloth, or plastic bag, or directly on the burning skin area depends on precisely how badly it's burning and/or itching.

Decide for yourself on an event-by-event basis. Personally, I've just grabbed an ice cube and rubbed it on the area, gaining relief in seconds. Sometimes, when the burning goes away, there is still some itching, and you get that feeling that you just HAVE to scratch. If you do, better do so gently. It is better, and more effectively long-lasting if you instead take a cold, wet washcloth and gently gently gently run the affected area, so that you are softly removing all of the excess skin cells that are irritating the skin beneath the buildup of excess cells. Better to gently scratch the itch with something OTHER than your fingernails, a particularly disastrous tool which feels wonderful during those few seconds of scratching the itch away, and then up to a full day of hurtful burning/bleeding.

Softly rubbing away the excess skin cells that are the symptoms of this problem is still the best way.

Obviously, it works best when the affected area is actually under water, which shows us another expeditious way of applying this excellent, fast-acting method. Simply jump into the bathtub as its filling with less-than-hot water, even cool water if it's comfortable for you, and gently rubbing the affected areas with a dripping wet cloth. Then, thoroughly rub small amounts of Vaseline or oil in.

Not only have these methods worked for me, they work well for others, as well. Seems a good time to share it with you, since you and I definitely understand how unpleasant skin conditions can be.

I urge you to ignore so-called conventional wisdom.
If they knew better, they'd do better; yes or no?

I am free of those horrid little spots that brought a thousand hours of distress until figuring out just how effective these techniques are. Obviously, there are no dangers or chemicals, or significant expenses to these high-powered shortcuts to attaining relief from psoriasis and a half-dozen similar afflictions. A whole week of this treatment still takes less time, and just a tiny fraction of the effort and expense of going to just one appointment with a dermatologist. Here, you've gotten it from the horse's mouth, and there are only two ends of a horse dispensing information. Thank me later.

How is this instantly useful to you? Good question. Read on.

he NY Daily News had an article about professional baseball players' salaries that attracted my attention, and ended up revealing a utile PowerGem. You see, basic calculations tell us that the typical pro baseball player who has a batting average of .270 (that means he's gotten 27 hits for every 100 times he's stepped up to bat) earns, on average, $205,000 per year in salary. Meanwhile, the player who has a batting average of .300 earns, on average, about $570,000 per year. He's earning almost TRIPLE the salary of the guy batting .270

My question to you is, does the player getting the $570,000 get three times as many hits as the player earning $205,000? Of course not. In fact, he only gets one additional hit for every twelve tries! For that little difference, that little bit extra, he earns almost three times times as much money. Similar to the horse who wins the race, it only takes about eight or nine percent difference of output in order to produce a far, far greater result and reward.

Don't kid yourself into thinking that life is all that different. We began this topic referring to the people in the top 20%, and the top 20% of the top 20%, and so on. Again and again we see the influence of Pareto's Principle, which states clearly that 80% of all results come from 20% of all efforts. Let's break that down into a few smaller pieces, and combine it to what we've covered so far so that YOU can make use of it quickly.

You might start with a simple tracking exercise: Take 3 pieces of paper, one for each of the next three days. On it, list 24 separate hours, and as each waking hour goes by, write down exactly what you did for that hour, and whether you did it with low effort, medium effort, or superstar effort. Three days only.

At the end of the three days most people are astounded to see how many, many minutes they waste each and every day on minor activities and conversations.

The first step in effective time management is to see how many minutes and hours are thoroughly wasted each week, then trade at least some of those frittered minutes and hours away for better minutes. One huge chunk is generally found just on useless conversations with people that have nothing to do with reaching your long-term, mid-term, and short-term goals. Invest more of those minutes writing down a list of people and organizations who MIGHT be able to help you get what you want.

Believe it or not, fully 80% of your time is absurdly underused. Creating a three-day written accounting of your time will prove this to you, and provide a little push in a smarter direction --- using your time more intelligently, for more benefit to you and to others.

Roughly 80% of all the times you ask for something, you only ask once. Without a doubt, this is the the single greatest mistake of your life, because ASKING is beyond question the single greatest power available to you from birth to death in achieving and/or attaining absolutely anything and everything a human desires. ASK MORE, dummy!

Think about it: 80% of the time, birth to death, you only ask once. What a foolish waste. That's why you don't hear the word "YES" far more often. When you stop asking just because you've heard "NO," you're depriving yourself of so much more than you apparently realize; truly a life-depriving waste of your single greatest resource, the resource of simply asking. The truth and proof of this is literally multiplied when we clearmindedly examine the fact that 80% of all the 'yesses' you hear in this life are purely and exclusively because you asked considerably more than once.

It can be compared to a typical telemarketer who might ask for the sale one time, hear the negative response, and then hang up and go to the next one.
When you stop and think how many times the telemarketer has to dial that phone just to get one decision maker on the line, it's crazy to let go without giving their best shot, by asking two, three, four, five, even six and seven times. The undeniable fact is:
From birth to death, 80% of all the times we hear "YES," it is only and exclusively because we have asked six or seven times. You can like it, you can dislike it; this fact hasn't changed in thousands of years, and it's not likely to change for you. Should you use enough PowerGems to learn how to get every other person to say yes to you, great. For the purposes of this exercise in creating new millionaires, you do not need to be a great persuader... only a persistent one.

You must learn to ask more times, so that the 20% of your efforts that produce... will produce more.

You see, if you're asking someone for something, and that person is in a position to say yes, their use of the word "No," does not actually mean "NO!" It means, "NOT YET." That's right; it only means that you have not given them sufficient reason to say yes.

Ask again. And again... ... and again. It works.

What is a "Shorcut"? Glad you ask. It's not misspelled

We can easily agree that people with 10 or 20 years of excellence know about obstacles to avoid. Most people who claim twenty years' experience usually have more like four years of experience repeated five times over. We refer here to those individuals who demonstrate word-class results repeatedly. These are the truest experts. When experts in a given field, such as ten Olympic Champions, ten multimillionaires, ten great teachers, unanimously agree that something specific should be avoided, there's little chance they're wrong, provided they're not economists.

Similarly, when ten Olympic Champions, ten multi-millionaires, AND ten great teachers all issue similar statements of an abiding belief that a big part of their success is because they wrote their dream on paper with a date, listing the obstacles and the people who can help get rid of the obstacles, free of any knowledge that the other twenty-nine have said the same thing, it sounds like a pattern, what we call A Guaranteed Shortcut. Never been known to fail.
When the number of masters and millionaires who offer this information climbs into the scores, the hundreds, and even the thousands, one by one, individually gleaned from interviews and/or breaking bread with these extraordinary role models of success… we have Power Shortcuts, sometimes referred to as PowerGems.
No matter who, what, or where you are in life, PowerGems are universally utile: they work. Start now. Suspend your opinion and put this to use today:

DON'T ASK IF; ASK WHICH

This is one of the ten most powerful shortcuts a human being can ever hope to learn. 100% of us understand this, 93% are too profoundly stupid to tap into it, on purpose, in the next few minutes. Before 100 attempts are complete, you double the number of yesses you receive.

PowerGems tend to work in just minutes!! Time for a better mind-set, hm?
When I'm interested in a lady, I don't ask her if she wants to dine with or date me, or if she's busy this weekend. That's like deciding to walk a race because you figure you won't win it.
These are yes/no questions, which are to be avoided, do you understand? Don't ask if...
ask when, ask which, ask what color, what flavor... ... consistently offering alternative choices, rather than just 'yes' or 'no.'
Keep in mind that yes or no means, at best, a fifty percent chance of getting what you want. Instantly increase your probabilities by offering two or more affirmative choices, choices that you decide upon, rather than allowing to be decided for you.

I tell her I'd like to take her out for Chinese food on Friday night, unless she'd get a bigger thrill of seeing the exhibition at the Metropolitan Museum on Saturday.
"
Oh, you're busy both days? Okay, Sunday afternoon they have a special Laserium show at the Hayden Planetarium. Does that sound exciting OR would a quiet dinner at Luigi's Monday night please you more?"
Offer choices! You'll see fast, pleasing results.
Try it now.
Quicker, better results.

If you're smart enough to be asking more questions, combine it with this Power Shortcut by asking more and better questions in the next few minutes.

Who can help you get there? Call them up in the next 5 minutes, and ask them if they'd like to help you by doing this, or would they feel more comfortable by doing that? It's powerful, it's immediate, and it will positively impact the rest of your life. Ask. Ask. Ask.

Please don't nod your head, tucking this away for future use. If you really knew better, you'd be doing better, wouldn't you? Use it immediately, watch what happens. ENORMOUS results; guaranteed. The same minute that you put your list of possible 'helpers' on paper, you begin thinking of additional people to add to the list. By the time you get a hundred people on your list, you will find that at least a few of them are saying 'YES' to you, others are getting closer to saying yes. If this shorcut alone is not enough to stimulate you to acting on it, put your seat belt on, you're about to get smarter. What's especially exciting about this is that, hidden in the act of asking, right here you have another awe-inspiring, instantly life-changing benefit: every time you get a 'NO' from a particular person, you are now mathematically one time closer to having that person say yes.

The inventor who lost more money for more of his financial backers than any other inventor before or since?

That was the same guy who told a NY Times reporter at a news conference that he had not failed ten thousand times, rather, had learned ten thousand ways NOT to invent the electric light bulb, that he simply took ten thousand steps in order to announce at that news conference that he, Thomas Edison, had indeed invented a successful electric light bulb.

Now maybe you know more than Thomas Edison, or think you do. In point of fact, Edison also made more money for his backers than a thousand other inventors combined We have no doubt that you may well be a legend in your own mind. Simply examine the paper-thin difference between knowing it, and proving it. That single-ply tissue-thickness is a matter of a few minutes per day. As with most subjects, talk is cheap. What you do speaks so loudly we really can't hear a word you're saying.

The sole purpose of this document is to pound into your head that you have what amounts to a magic genie between your ears, that you can make huge leaps in a single day or two. Since learning this I've tripled my results in a dozen of my favorite areas, with as little as fifteen minutes per day. Before you know it, the minutes of superfocus add up to hundreds, then thousands of those little 15-minute chunks. Wow. How would you like to read a book or two per day, every day? I've been doing it since my tenth birthday, which was a bit more than ten thousand days ago. For me, it's worth two hours and more per day. It has certainly helped in the pursuit of radio shows, guitar, piano, breaking a hundred sales records for a half-dozen large NY companies... ...and 12,000 hand-created, completely free web pages... just for you.

I haven't gotten any smarter; I've simply learned more high-powered shortcuts from my role models, reading about and interacting with them; then setting out to duplicate their precise words and efforts, just as Grandma does with a recipe. My role models are those who do things at world-class levels repeatedly. The most exciting, encouraging fact to emerge from so many years, so many thousands of days of studying and interacting with winners is that every single last one of them, every girl Jill and every man Jack, every single world-class leader has overcome obstacles much bigger than yours. The proof is that they moved past their obstacles while you're still making pipsqueak efforts with your enormous reservoir of resources.

The more times you ask the same person for something, the closer they get to saying what you want to hear more than anything else: "Yes."

When you ask ten people, twenty, and thirty, the absolute likelihood of you getting whatever it is that you want multiplies with the sweet taste of something called synergy, where one plus one equals more than two.

Synergy is when two equal items added together create something that's more than double, even though that does not make sense to a mathematician.

If you've ever tried to walk more steps along a railroad track than your brother or cousin on the other track, then you know that getting up to 20 and 30 steps along that narrow rail takes many, many tries.

As Zig Ziglar reminded us, what do you think happens when two such people reach out and join hands? Aha!! The two of you can walk farther and faster without tripping or slipping off the rail, because of the magic of synergy, where one plus one equals more than two.

Can you handle another major secret, a superlative shortcut that will actually give you power over other people, and more so when you use it for mutual benefit? Get ready, this one's big.

Very few people can say 'No' after seven requests

It's that simple. Ask a human being for something specific -- seven or more times -- and their ability to say 'No' diminishes, even as their likelihood of saying 'Yes' increases -- with near-mathematical similarity. You might look up the word 'apposite' in the dictionary. It fits here.
Obviously, asking fifty people significantly increases the likelihood of you obtaining you what you want. The way to guarantee getting what you want is to ask each person repeatedly until they say yes.

Find new ways to ask.

You knew this as a three-year old asking, then demanding, then crying for, and finally wheedling your way into that ice cream from the truck. True, or not? Well, guess what?

It works great for adults, too, even better, in fact, since adults do have communication and 'asking skills' at least moderately better than those of a child. Go ahead. Find new and creative ways to ask each person on your asking list more and more and more...
until you hear that sweet word: 'YES!'
Decide what you most want. Resolve to ask at least three different people per day for help in getting it, three per day, thirty-one days in a row. You will be thrilled, perhaps even astonished. Remember, PowerGem means getter there faster, consistently faster. By consistently focusing on the fact that it's one of the greatest, fastest shortcuts in existence, you will just as consistently produce faster, better results.
As with every PowerGem and Shorcut, your opinion is of little interest, well, actually, of no interest at all, because it's of no benefit to any of us, least of all the most important person on the planet, until it's been used a hundred times or more. Then and only then is a person qualified to offer a licit opinion. And if you're in any way uncertain about who's the most important person alive, you'd better run into the bathroom and ask the mirror. Ask ask ask.

Repetition is the mother of every human skill.

Using Shorcuts produces phenomenal results.

GO FOR IT!!

Golden Losers

William J Blythe IV. What a name to begin life with, more so when you're born in a tiny town of 1200 people, with poverty a standard of life.

His dad died before he was born. His stepfather, Roger, used to beat Billy's mom when alcohol would take over in the house. Living in Hope, Arkansas doesn't promise too much, does it? Well, he did have 2 things going for him: he was a decent student, & his mom preached the value of persistence on a daily and oft-repeated basis. It would seem he learned well from her. With the Boy's Club, he went to Washington, D.C.; took a tour of the White House, and actually got to shake hands with the President of the United States. A photographer happened to be less than 5 feet away, and took a photo of the US President shaking hands with young Billy Blythe...... There's a lot to be said of that photograph, and of the smiling, near-arrogant gleam in the eye of that 16-yr old kid.

I still have a copy of that photograph, and I'd swear you can hear Billy Blythe's thoughts as he smiled into the eyes of JFK: "I admire you, I want to be like you, and someday I'm going to be US President." It's written all over his teenage face for history to examine.
Hard to decry or deny that look on his face, in his eyes. That young man was adopted by his stepfather, Roger. Naturally, he changed his last name. 28 years after the photo was taken, William Jefferson Clinton was sworn in as President of the United States. Four years later, he took the oath of office for a second time. Persistence is the greatest power on earth.
On Nov 8, 1970, New Orleans was losing a football game to Detroit, 17-16. Last play of the game. Everyone's wondering who's this 'big old crippled guy' walking onto the field, since it was quite obvious that the man was missing a hand AND the front of his right foot. The announcer advised that they were watching Tom Dempsey, the Patriot's official kicker. It was a kick heard round the world: Tom Dempsey, born with what YOU might call 'handicaps,' kicked the single longest field goal in the history of professional football: an astonishing 63 yards!! Needless to say, New Orleans won the game. Tom's persistence paid off.
I remember reading of a baseball player who made it to St Louis' professional team many years ago. Never hit a home run, never saved a game with a single play, but by God he was a professional player... even though he only had one arm!!! Like Jim Abbott, I suppose, who pitched 90 MPH fastballs for San Fransisco… DESPITE HAVING ONLY ONE ARM !!!
What's YOUR excuse for not pursuing your personal best?
Common to these people is the same identical first step:the ability to describe with exquisite precision what they want, usually in ten words or less.
When you see this happening with hundreds of people who've individually climbed up to the three highest rungs of America's corporate leadership, the scientific word is "pattern."

Patterns do not occur accidentally,
particularly patterns of excellence

Excellence is nothing more, and nothing less,
than doing something finely, and repeatedly: a pattern.
Paying heed to these patterns means reducing the trial and error process, and provides shortcuts to duplicating the desired result.

Secondly, most of them have written notes on what they're aiming at. If it's not worth putting into writing, it's probably not worth considering... ...unless, of course, you know more than the CEO's of our Fortune 500 companies.
Put it in writing!
Third, they asked for what they wanted more than anyone else.
They asked.
And asked.
And asked.
…And asked again.

And guess what they did AND STILL DO when they can't get that "Yes" ???

You guessed it, sister:

THEY ASKED AGAIN.
You've known since you were a child that the more times you ask for what you want, and the more people you ask for what you want…
… the more you will receive what you want.

When did you stop asking?
It's the single fastest way to get whatever you want in life.
That's why and how you'll prove how smart you are, and can be, using a simple technique which amounts to the single greatest power any human being has ever had, and certainly the single fastest shortcut available to you, or to anyone else who's smart enough to hush up and use it this very hour and day:Ask more people, and ask people more.

Now, let's put these high-powered tools to use together, which considerably,
measurably speeds up the quality and quantity of your results.
  • Identify a dozen or more people who are already doing well at what YOU want to excel at.
  • Write each of them a short note, along the lines of, "Hi, we both know you're top-notch in your field. I wish to make a contribution to the world as magnificent as yours. With expert guidance, I just know I can be in that top five percent." May I buy you lunch in hope that you'll be my mentor for 20 or 30 minutes?
More times than not you can expect an answer. At least half the time, you can expect an invitation to lunch. The one significant exception I've encountered is with entertainment celebrities. Although many are famous and wealthy, few of them give a long-term appearance of fulfillment or happiness. That makes it very difficult for them to share, Naturally, there are exceptions; to date, it has proven to be the rule.
For a hundred different career fields, we have people who've risen to the top faster and more effectively than others. I'm sure you can understand why they are considered to be the single best source of guidance for success in any field. For a few dollars worth of stamps, you'll be bowled over by the general decency and willingness to share that is such a basic part of a true role model.
The truth is, between 80 and 90% of our role models are people who 'started in their uncle's rented garage' or some such modest beginning.
Two college students renting a room in their aunt's attic came up with rent.net out of desparation to find an apartment. Within five years, both had hundreds of millions of dollars, not merely because it was a dot com company, rather, because it served several million hungry wannabe apartment and house-renters.
Every invention idea is laughed at and scorned... right up until the time that one decision maker believes in it, and backs it... all the way to success. Television, the electric light bulb, the Sony Walkman, and every other toy and contrivance you can imagine, began as a 'silly' dream in someone's mind. With over a hundred documented examples, there's a clear pattern. USE THE PATTERN, just as a dressmaker does.
A mother fed up with expensive toys too easily and quickly broken, creates simple, durable toys for her kids and their friends, next thing you know people are paying her to make more for theirkids... and seven years later her toy company is grossing a hundred and eighty million dollars per year. Can you imagine her husband's eyebrows when this housewife approaching forty tells her husband she needs money to start a toy company although she's never had a paying job in her life?
How about a guy so broke at Christmas he uses his grandma's recipe? Note that this was a WRITTEN recipe. Ah, that magical written map that guarantees success whenyoufollow the map, hm?

Because he couldn't afford Christmas gifts, he decided to bake chocolate chip cookies to give all of his friends and family, placing each dozen cookies in a little brown paper bag. Be honest, now: what possible expectations of success do you personally prognosticate and predict for a man of 42 who cannot sign his own name because he's completely illiterate? He had a dream, and the second he got someone to help him by putting that dream on paper with a written deadline, and a list of people who could help him, and the smaller steps necessary to take a "silly" dream all the way to reality.... it transmogrified from a dream into a goal. Literacy Volunteers of America, known as LVA, began teaching him, at age 42, how to read the alphabet, and enunciate "Dick and Jane see Spot," while his friends and family clamored for more of those incredible cookies.

In between his reading lessons, he rented a shack on the beach in Hawaii, ran a very long extension cord to an outlet he could 'borrow' electricity from, and baked the cookies he decided to call Famous Amos Cookies.

Since he had no money for marketing or advertising, he took the simplest, shortest path to success: he went to grocery stores, approached the manager or owner and stuck out a bag, saying, "Hi, please taste one of these and tell me if you have ever had such a delicious cookie." One bite was about all it took for store after store after store to take every bag of Famous Amos chocolate chip cookies he could produce and deliver.

He asked, and asked, and asked, and then asked again. All smart people know what happens when you ask for something hundreds, and yes, even thousands of times...SUCCESS is what happens.

Within seven years, this (formerly) illiterate and financially destitute broke adult was able to thank the LVA for teaching him how to read as a grown adult. He thanked them handsomely; with a check for ten million dollars.

A postcript to the legend of Wally Amos is also useful for you and I to learn from. You see, ten years after he founded the company, he decided to retire to a life of teaching other illiterate adults how to read. He sold the Famous Amos Chocolate Chip Company for forty million dollars. Sadly, people he thought he could trust ripped him off for the majority of his money. The only business he'd known was baking chocolate chip cookies, and that's it.

The moment that his noncompetitive clause expired, he was back in the chocolate chip cookie business, with a new company, and a new cookie. He proved that Charlie Jones was right in saying, "It's not how hard you fall that matters, it's how high you bounce."
It would've been easy, and maybe even understandable if Bill Clinton had 'bought into' the level of mediocrity so endemic, so common, in those raised in poverty, or with alcohol-fueled abuse, or worse. ...and no one would've been surprised if Wally Amos had never amounted to much; after all, he was still bumming around at 42, illiterately, no less. In their case, as with most of our Masters and Millionaires, they found others who did it well, and they copied them. Wally copied his grandma's recipe, and Bill Clinton copied his heroes, JFK and Abraham Lincoln. Several encyclopedias today include that famous photograph of a 15-year old 'country bumpkin' shaking hands with his role model, the U.S. President.
This is not an endorsement for being just like Mike, as the famous ad exhorts us. It's a simple, powerful reminder that there are faster, easier, smoother paths to your own success. They have been paved by the blood, sweat and tears of those who pioneered the field you wish to excel in. Go ahead; call them, write them, email them, send them tape cassettes of you recording yourself asking them to be your mentor for a half-hour. Reap the fruits of asking, because no power on earth will ever bring you more than the power of asking for what you want... asking it of those who are in a position to say yes, and able to back up that yes.

Shortcuts of Masters and Millionaires

Three of the powers that only humans possess are:
the ability to put a desire in writing... the ability to create a set of planned steps toward attaining that desire... ...and the ability to take those ordered steps.

As with every great power, whether or not you get to taste the sweet fruits of magnificent accomplishment is determined far less by outside events than by the choices that you have in front of you at this moment and mostly every moment of your life. As always, the choice is exclusively yours.

Since power is as knowledge does, here's your chance to get it done faster.

Power over events, objects, and other people is attainable within minutes, because any one of the ten or so PowerGems we customarily encounter in life is enough to produce fast, compelling results when used even somewhat intelligently and, of course, repeatedly repeatedly repeatedly.
Here's a great example: Ask twelve girls one time each, and you just barely have a chance that one will say yes. Ask one girl twelve times -- or two girls six times each-- and you have an 80%+ probability of obtaining a yes!! Do you think succeeding at what you love best takes more than this? Much more importantly, will you stop offering unlearned, insufficient opinions long enough to employ this excellent, useful technique in THIS twenty-four hour period? As always, your words cannot and will not influence us near as much as your actions, hm? People who do it better are fantastic sources of information!
For those few of you who are geniuses (according to Albert Einstein, genius is "nothing more and nothing less than the ability to take an infinite number of pains an infinite number of times",

This makes it easier to understand the unparalleled record of Thomas Edison, who lost more money for more investors than any other inventor before or since. Detailed records indicate that he struck out with more inventions than any other inventors before or after him.

Just like Babe Ruth striking out the most AND hitting the most home runs, it's no coincidence that Thomas Edison also invented more creations than any other individual (1,954 patents, of which 1,860 were commercially marketed within a 20-year period).

Like the majority of record-holders in all areas of human competition, the one who succeeds the most also strikes out far more than average. In the last minute or so, you've been reminded of two separate, life-changing powers that you can tap into on command without spending money or even great lengths of time. From the top of this page to the last paragraph, you were reminded of several other INSTANTLY productive PowerGems already at your disposal. Question is, do you nod your head like a moron, SAYING that you understand, with your actions disproving your own statement within minutes? Hello?

For those who are convinced that this does not apply to you, precisely what excellence of effort did you personally embrace in the past hour? What about this next hour? Will you approach it with a great desire to do it better... ... or will it be more of the same lame blame you've been laying for too long now? We cannot tell what you know by what you say you know.

We've got eleven million people in America worth a million or more dollars; nearly seven million of whom are earning more than eighty thousand dollars per month, most with little or no college. In almost every case, we can see these many groups of a hundred thousand self-made millionaires per group doing the same things, and using the same shortcuts. Now it's your turn.

Make no mistake about coincidences: As of this writing 471 human beings own or control more than 60% of all the money on your favorite planet. Few indeed have much in the way of formal education, let alone degrees. They got where they are by no accident; rather, by design and intent. Without argument, their single most identifiable commonality is their willingness to ask for what they want more than everyone else. Do you really and fully grasp this? There are a billion people per day asking for money. Some get it, some don't. When someone like Bill Gates wanted to sell a new product, he knew when the alarm clock went off that asking a billion people (repeatedly) to buy your product will always produce more sales than merely asking ten people. That's where you come in. Even though you already possess the resources to ask a billion people (starting with the internet) for whatever you want, you have, for some reason, refused to ask more than a few people, and even they are only asked by you once or twice, most of the time. True, or not?

Now it's your turn.

You don't need to blow your budget, at least not your financial budget. Conventional thinking is the most specific inhibitor of all great discoveries. As George Bernard Shaw happily reminded us,
"The reasonable man adapts himself to the world, and the unreasonable man adapts the world to himself. Therefore, all progress depends upon the unreasonable man."

If your neighborhood security guard had a long-time day job driving a local delivery truck, and talks kinda funny, suddenly says, "I'm moving to Hollywood, I've got to go for it," every single person in the neighborhood, including you, seems to say, "WHAT'RE YOU, CRAZY??!! You'll NEVER make it."

So when we see a Michael Clarke Duncan, born without a dollar, reaping millions of dollars after winning an academy award for his first-ever acting part ( The Green Mile ), please don't think it was a fluke. This man did NOT get to the top of his personal ladder by luck, unless you understand that 'luck' is acronymic for
L aboring Under Correct Knowledge.

Mr. Duncan and thousands of "sudden" success stories every single week after week after week are not as suddenly successful as first glance might indicate. Based on one particular desire that they have, they near-obsessively focus on just one or two of the greatest PowerGems at their disposal, and get very busy.

The larger majority do it with a minority of their time; as little as an hour or two per week.

From brain surgery to auto detailing, raising a child or earning megabucks, every human task on earth can be learned and mastered by you twice as fast, five times as fast, even fifty times faster than conventional methods will teach. It really does boil down to desire and fear.

If you were deserted on an island or mountain or in a forest and knew that you absolutely had to perform rudimentary surgery on your child to save his or her life, honey, you best believe a loving parent will do WHATEVER is necessary to save that child's life.

You're constantly saying that you don't have time to pursue excellence as a part-time sideline, not even one percent of your time. You'll spend 33% of your life sleeping, another 33% working, and no less than 18% of your time on intensely minor things such as red lights, useless conversation, etc. You'll spend thousands of minutes folding clothes in your life, and barely a hundred minutes in 80 years planning your life. Ouch. That explains why you don't have much in the bank either.

You've said many times that you just don't have time. Tell me, if, God Forbid, you needed dialysis three times a week or you'd be dead, would you MAKE time to go the hospital three times per week for the external washing of your very blood? Bet your sweet bippy you'd make time.

This document is a call to you. You're not paying cash for it, you're not being solicited to buy tapes and videos and time-coded CD's. You're being solicited for nothing more than one percent of your time; devoted exclusively to your happiness. It is so much easier than you might ever have realized. Just tap more into what you already have in order to have more to tap in to. If you don't clearly understand this, stop reading and give it some thought. Aha!! THOUGHT! Now there's something you rarely engage properly in. (Sorry, but just look at your life; isn't that proof enough? We're not here to belittle you, (ok, just a bit) far more to remind you how great you really are when you want to be.

That's really what everything boils down to: the difference between liking something, and wanting it. How much do you want it? Begin by asking for it. Duuuuuhhhn! Go ahead and ask today : ask more people, and ask those people more.

Ask twelve people ten times each and you are going to hear the word yes.

It is so simple that we don't see the forest for the trees!!
Do you know what you want?
Ask for it, and you shall receive it.
The most unfulfilled people are those who spend a whole lifetime getting paid for jobs they hate. This is such a revealing example of exquisite stupidity. You see, how we spend our minutes is a clear preview of how we're spending our lives. Every single day I try to play guitar and piano, write a thousand words, read a book, give service to others, eat delicious food, learn something new about my computer... and more. Even if it's just five minutes of noodling on the piano, I must have that time, so that each New Year's Eve, each birthday, clearly shows one hundred or more hours per year at my favorite thirty things.
Are we on the same page here?

Whether it's finding a way to get paid for doing whatever you love the most -- instead of just having a job for three or seven or twenty years... ...

...or attaining a date with that dreamboat...

...or losing 30 lbs...

....or finding a way to invest in quality time with loved ones...

or owning your own home within 100 weeks...

,,,or any other desire you can name... you have instant access to accelerated results. It may take a day or two, on rare occasions more, for you to see some of the results. Since you're already GETTING results, better use of the tools you already possess can only increase the speed and quality of those results.

The more ardently AND repeatedly that you use the resources already at your disposal, the faster you'll see more of the results your inner heart wishes for.
I know you've got more than 200,000 temperature detectors in your body, 107 million visual receptors of incredible sophistication in each eye; more than 500 THOUSAND touch detectors; 48,000 hi-tech receiving fibers in each ear, more than FOUR MILLION pain-sensitive structures in your body... and literally tens of thousands of millions of computer chips within your brain to handle all that information at a rate that makes lightning speed look like a crawl. With all this and so much more at your command, are you really trying to tell me that you can't double your income in the next 100 to 200 days? Oh, you're a slowpoke, and it might take you 300, or even 400 days. Gee, what a bummer. Four hundred days to make a dream come true... Are YOU capable of committing to a dream come true? 330 days x 15 minutes pr day = 5000 minutes of practice. Enormous results every time.
"But if I've never done it before, how am I supposed to know how?"
Power Shortcut: find people who are already doing it. Over the past 9 years, I've been able to study 5,200 of the most successful people in history. Tapes, books, internet, university findings, videos, & more, full time! Throughout this period, I tried to list every commonality I could find in these people. At the same time, I experimented with some of the commonalities in my own life. I was supposed to be in a wheelchair for life, thanks to a drunken driver hitting a van I was a passenger in... at 100+ MPH. It seemed to me that nooobody knows better about how to do something.... than people who have done it. Not talked about it, advised about it, suggested, demanded/offered; no, no, no, we're talking about PEOPLE WHO SHUT UP, WENT OUT AND DID IT.
I specifically looked for people who'd overcome life-challenging physical obstacles. People who wanted something specific, & did it not just once, but numerous times. Boy, was I in for some surprises! (EXAMPLE: Of more than 5000 people who hit the top in their field, better than 93% of our topmost achievers, without exception, had long histories of screwups, failures, and/or inactivity prior to becoming superexcellent). This alone represent the single largest common trait. So already we see instant good news for those of us who tend to strike out a great deal.

Are you surprised to learn that far more than half of all world records are achieved by people who also hold 'opposite records.' People like Babe Ruth, Hank Aaron, and Mickey Mantle: three largest achievers of home runs, who are also the three players who struck out more than any other players. Fran Tarkenton had more of his passes intercepted than any other quarterback in NFL history... and also had more pass completions than any other quarterback in NFL history. Even people like me who don't like or approve of professional sports as they are today know that Ricky Henderson got caught trying to steal bases more than any other player before him or since. Although he failed at this one task more than any other player in the history of American baseball, he also successfully stole more bases than any other player in the history of American baseball.

Do you vaguely understand the mathematical perfection here that you can use in the next sixty seconds and sixty minutes to your phenomenal profit and benefit?

It is critically important to your life that you not confuse understanding something with actually knowing something. What you know means nothing to any of us, as you may have figured out by the results you've been getting in your life. What you DO with what you know is fascinating to all of us, when you do it better. For your own sake, slow down a moment here to focus that statement like a pleasant flashlight on yourself: What you know means little to us, what you DO with what you know means a great deal to us.

Would you waste even ten seconds arguing the fact that you personally live in the single richest era of opportunity that has ever existed?

You can now instantly access more than one hundred million different computers in a matter of seconds -- even if you don't have a computer -- you can go to your public library and use the Internet for free.!

If you do have a computer and a phone line, you can get FREE internet service from more and more sources, which immediately ties you to millions and millions and millions of computers, all waiting for your personal tap.

Most importantly, if you want to know how to do something, you seriously accelerate your speed in achieving any human effort by simply duplicating the physical motions and/or actual words of the people who have done it repeatedly.

Don't complicate it: knowing it and understanding it are not the same. The only way to tell the difference is by observation of action. YOUR action. Action taken and action not taken. We call it 'empirical evidence.' It's the loudest of all. Taking action demands possession of good information. Please tell us, who knows better than those who are doing it again and again and again, until appearing to do it effortlessly? Do you really think we believe that you know better than they do? ...Hellooooo?
Answers from the people who've already done it. Do you get it? -- People who have already done it. Sweetheart, it doesn't get any better than the horse's mouth. When twelve different billionaires personally and individually tell you they all had some type of DAILY WRITTEN list AND that they asked people for what they wanted more than anyone else did, you'd have to be stupid to ignore either one of these two obviously powerful shortcuts. When your studies elicit the fact that more than seventy billionaires have made private or public comments that asking more produces more and everything else is just talk, do you have the brains to INSTANTLY start asking more people for whatever it is that you want in life, and asking those people more times each?

What happens when you --- and I literally, particularly do mean you --- when you combine your understanding with the mathematically perfect guarantee from using the 'opposite record' to your advantage? Who holds the record for most misses almost uniformly will hold the record for the most successes.

Mathematically, there's no argument that if you try something ten times in one year, you can't possibly be as good at when you try that same thing 1000 times within one year, yes or no? It's so simple that your brain is missing it entirely. You have all the reasons and excuses. Arthur Marzigliano laughingly repeated on a regular basis, "There are thousands of excuses for failure, and only one reason." He'd patiently wait, and if we didn't respond quickly enough he'd yell, "Inadequate effort, dummy!"

It's the ultimate catch-all and do-all that decides whether you get what you want in life. It consistently and even always boils down to that one question: "Did you do it enough times to get it?" Yes, or no. Either you put forth sufficient effort to make it happen.. ... or you didn't. All else is meaningless, truly meangingless mental meandering of an immoderately myopic mind.

Like it or not, 90% of us, no matter what education level we've got, are so intensely stupid we'll read only one chapter of a book, barely making use of the instantly tranferrable power found in its pages. Ouch.
We know you're smart enough to understand
HOW, I'm merely observing that more than 90% of you are not smart enough to DO.
Remember: It's not what you know, it's what you DO with what you know that determines your success or failure in everything you do from birth to death.
Since you use this huge power every day for minor things, why not apply the same rules to major things? Obviously, power shortcuts produce results: I walk, run, ride my bikes and live each day with passion and excellence in mind, despite being told I'd be in a wheelchair for life. I've broken or shattered records at company after company. It's not me, kids, it's the Power Shortcuts used by Winners.

Identify what you want, and in the next five days, produce 100 or more ideas for making it happen. You simply cannot comment upon it until you've given it a fair shot. In every single case, the person who produces 100 ideas within 100 hours always and consistently thinks better, faster, and smarter... leading inexorably to better results. Most of the ideas will probably be unworkable, or unaffordable, etc. However, every single time that you use this phenomenally powerful tool, there will be a few very good ideas, and one or two that are genius-like. It works every time, for every human being who puts it to use. SHUT UP! SHUT UP! Shut up! YOU HAVE NO RIGHT TO OPINE UNTIL YOU HAVE THE EXPERIENCE TO BACK IT UP!!
Perhaps 7% of you are going to get excited, and you'll be smart enough to actually DO IT, while fools won't. The proof that you do NOT know better is found in your bank balance. If you knew better, you'd do it better. Those who write 5 or 10 ideas per day will DEFINITELY accomplish more this next month than you have in the past 6 months.

UNCONDITIONALLY GUARANTEED SuperShortcut: the person who writes five or ten new ideas every day for achieving any imaginable human goal will produce more in the next 300 days than you have produced in your entire life. Guaranteed every time. Whether you're smart or stupid is NOT determined by whether or not you understand this... it's based on whether you're smart enough to shut up and write five or ten or fifteen news ideas each and every day of your life. Everything else is garbage out of the mouth.

If you ignore 99% of all the wisdom and foolishness in the world and use this one fantastic trick, this immensely powerful shortcut every day for even twenty or thirty days, you will find magic happening in several areas of your life. Prove it wrong or right NOT with your too-quickly-uttered, mostly ignorant opinion. Prove or disprove it with your actions, because it's the only thing about you that any human being ever has or ever will respect about you. NOT your uninformed opinion; rather, your INFORMED opinion, your EXPERIENTIAL opinon. Your opinion, by definition is ignorant, until you've done it ten, twenty, thirty days. THEN we all must heed your words on the subject, since you're the one in the room who's done it.

... and that's really the whole point of all this effort we've both gone to in order to arrive at this sentence. Enormous resources that change lives in a single day are at your immediate disposal. If you understand, please tap your hoof three times. Prove that you understand by having just enough discipline to set aside a solid, uninterrupted five minutes per day just for you and your inner thoughts. If you wish to become fantastically successful, you'd have to invest a full ONE percent of your time... .... fourteen point four minutes per day of the 1,440 minutes that you're issued every 24 hours. Fourteen minutes focused exclusively on one thing that you really love to do, and are willing to seek ways to get paid for doing.

If you haven't got the brains to set aside just five minutes per day for creating the map of your life, another five minutes TOTAL in each 24 hours to breathe much deeper than you normally do, five minutes reading or listening to something that will bring your laughter out loud, then, simply, you're an idiot, and you're invited to stop reading this. The personal and financial efforts that have been invested to bring you personally to the most sophisticated, effective, fast-acting shortcuts direct from masters and millionaires, champions and billionaires is far greater than your magnificent albeit tragically underused brain is likely to grasp.

You are invited to become a champion, or at least halfway to being a champion, at an incredibly accelerated rate. All you have to do is grab any one of these many life-changing, world-class SuperShortcuts and use even one of them every day for a few weeks. SHUT UP and see for yourself. Better and faster results something like 99.4% of the time. How can you beat odds for success like that? My goodness -- we're handing it to you on a silver platter here. Never before has anyone presented such a comprehensive detailing of the exact words and attitudes, tricks and techniques, the SHORTCUTS of virtually every world master in history. Like every great tool, you use it or you lose it.

We already know at this very minute that you are living by your written plan, or you're living by someone else's written plan. No exceptions, kiddo. For example, if you work for someone else, you only receive a portion of the money you are generating for that company or individual. That person or company has a written plan. If not, then in turn THEY are serving someone else's written plan.

You don't even need to understand this, or why; only that you can use this to your own advantage by using the same techniques as those who are already doing whatever it is you want to be good at. In every case, they ask for help. They asked for your help in making money for them. In return, they'll give you a portion of that, in salary or commission or stock... and you said yes. This is good only insofar as you use whatever it is you receive from them... using it to bring you your wishes and better desires before you leave this planet. You and I both know that you cannot do it tomorrow, because, as Henry Ford put it, "You cannot build a reputation based on what you're going to do."

We both know that you can only build your reputation based on what you did yesterday. In point of fact, you now have a reputation. It is the total of all your yesterdays combined with your actions today.

It's the explanation for how losers turn into winners -- they use more of their today's. When you are accused of being a drug dealer, and catch you in possession of crack cocaine, and a judge puts you in jail, you are labelled as a loser. That was true for Tim Allen. So how do you explain the fact that, just a few years later, he became the highest-paid performer on television, earning one million AND three hundred thousand dollars for each individual episode of his "Home Improvement" television comedy?

The answer is the same for him as it has been for hundreds of thousands and more hundreds of thousands of people every single year who are ADDED to the category of people who earn eighty thousand dollars per month or more.

Yes, you read that correctly: thousands of NEW and ADDITIONAL millionaires every single week for hundreds and hundreds of weeks, most of whom have no college degrees and a long, long list of screwups, strikeouts and obstacles. They all use less of their yesterdays and more of their todays. What about you? In every examined walk of life, top coaches, millionaires, Olympic gold medalists, scientists, entertainers, artists, politicians, ball players... literally every walk of life... it turns out that 10% of every group on earth rises to the top ten percent of their field. Are these people smarter? Better educated? Better connected to people in high places? Wealthier? The answer in each category is a flat, distinct, "NO!" It's been proven so many times that I'm not even going to waste your time explaining this in detail. Far too many people with wealth, connection, education, beauty, and more -- never come close to the top ten percent. So, what is it about these 10 of EVERY 100 who rise to the top?
Do they have commonalities?
Do they do or possess something special that we "regular joes and janes" can tap into? You have an unconditionally guaranteed "YES!" to both questions. Yes, they have commonalities. Yes, they possess something special that you and I can tap into. Wait until you hear the best part: you can tap into the same resources that they are, and begin effecting big changes in your life --- in a matter of minutes! MINUTES!!!
Knowing it is insufficient; the magic is in doing it. NOW.
Is there a catch? You bet:

The one catch/obstacle to you making radical improvements in your life is nothing more, or less, than making a decision to actually do it!
I kid you not. The decision to begin a new effort to get _____ or to be _____
THIS is where your biggest challenge is found. Not in the 'how.' There are dozens & hundreds of ways to do 99% of everything you'd ever want to do. That's a rock-solid promise. Finding the "how" is rarely ever a problem, my friend. The dream-breaking problem is finding a "why." Get through this first step, and you will come to understand IN THE NEXT 10 DAYS that you really ARE making big, big changes in your life. One thing we know for sure: when we have a strong enough "why," we always find a "how." You've done it before when you absolutely had to have a certain amount of money by a certain time, or a report/project that had a ridiculous deadline.... WHEN IT WAS IMPORTANT ENOUGH, You managed 'impossible,' DIDN'T YOU??!! Most people are, by definitition, too stupid to act upon the information they already possess, let alone new info. They simply don't want it badly enough. What do YOU want? Why do you want it? For example, this page contains information. If you understand it, and see its power, big deal. If you see the power, and USE it... you win. Printing this page is worth much more than you may realize.

Ruby's Rubies - Shortcuts of Masters and Millionaires

So, you're too old to change spots, ey?

Viola Krahn, at age 92, still winning diving championships.

George Bernard Shaw did not see his first play produced on Broadway until he was 94 years of age. A middle-aged cleaning woman you'd never miss found a copy of Napoleon Hill's Think and Grow Rich. Next thing you know, clubs, casino, and TV are paying big bucks for the comedy of Phyllis Diller.

A 70-yr old washed-up entertainer, long retired and "out to pasture," was rejected by over a dozen Hollywood agents when he decided to reenter comedy ten years after he'd retired!! One young agent gambled on him, and got 15% of nearly 12 million dollars earned by Jack Benny between the ages of 71 and 80.

Surely you remember that one fellow who entered a whole entire new career field in his 60's, and at the age of 74 was reelected President of the United States. Harlan Sanders never made a decent paycheck in his life until he opened his first Kentucky Fried Chicken at the age of 69. I could go on all day. Hilga Crooks climbed Mt. Everest, for the first time, at the age of 90, and has done it more than a half dozen times since!! When a lady three times my age can outclimb me, I don't think it's a physical difference, rather, a difference of asking better questions, which inevitably produces better decisions.

The very word decision says so much. It's from the latin root that gives us cisor -- which means to cut -- as in incision
, which means to cut into.

As in recision, which means to cut back from.
As inexcision, which means to cut out.
As in Decision, which means to cut away from.

Decision: To cut away from any other possibility.
It is the difference between liking something, and wanting something. Everyone would like a Rolls Royce; only a few people want a Rolls Royce. Those who want a Rolls Royce do what they have to do, and guess what? They HAVE a Rolls Royce, or a souped-up Camaro or whatever it is that makes them grin from ear to ear..

Whoever you are, whatever your station, finances, or other position in life, I can guarantee you, unconditionally, that this very minute is the single most powerful minute of your life. How you invest, spend, or waste this next minute will clearly tell us a great deal about the past year of your life.... and this next upcoming year of your life. I say this because of Ruby #5: The way I spend my minutes is a clear and irrefutable preview of how I am spending my life.It applies to me, and it applies to you. As you can see, I'm producing at this moment; I'm taking at least one step at this very minute towards my long-term goal of being a world-famous author. Can you afford to laugh at my dream, if I'm taking steps toward my dream, and you're not? As always, talk is cheap, becausewhat I do, and what you do, speaks so loudly that we need not say a word: our actions are speaking for us.

What I'd like to know right now is: what are you doing with this next minute of your life? Are you creating a stronger, clearer desire to go for whatever it is that you most desire in this life? If you really believe you can be successful, are you showing it TODAY?

You're asked to consider the case of a decent, possibly eccentric fellow who designed an airplane. The thing is, he designed it 'wrong'. His boss didn't know it, being involved in other things. When the design worked its way up the ladder, expert designers immediately saw that the plane was not capable of attaining, let alone sustaining flight.

Each new engineer said, "This plane will never get off the ground. " Twelve consulting engineers uniformly agreed that the designer had goofed, big time.

Bureaucracy being what it is, plans to build the airplane actually continued. The designer of the plane believed in the plane he'd designed, and had invested years on the project, so he fought the good fight to get the plane built. He won.

Good thing he took daily action; good thing this completely 'unflyable' plane got built, because one thing is certain: the 'unflyable' C-130 aircraft has flown more missions & saved far more lives than any other aircraft in history. Even today any student or expert in aeronautical design can look at the design and see that it is aerodynamically impossible for the plane to get off the ground. What makes it even funnier is that, according to the known laws of fight, it is perfectly impossible for a bumblebee to fly. How many of these so-called "impossibles" are still sitting inside of you?

Small daily steps yield HUGE results. George Bernard Shaw demonstrated his keen intellect when he reminded us of a truth that you can use personally, today, to make more and better things happen in your life, outside of external influences. He wrote that reasonable men adapt themselves to the world, whereas the unreasonable man adapts the world to himself... and therefore, all human progress relies exclusively upon the unreasonable man. Stretch your vision of what's reasonable for you.

Some people think I'm being a bit harsh in stating that most of us on this planet should contribute to resource conservation by conveniently walking into the ocean. It's tough to refute the idea that 90% of us are losers, NOT because we have less, rather, because we DO have more... and we decide not to use it. I'm sure you're not one of these people. You're living to your fullest potential, aren't you? I mean, YOU certainly don't flush your life down the drain in a day-by-day attempt to make it to the weekend, would you?

YOU'RE not the kind of person who watches TV two or three hours per day, are you? No, NO!! YOU are the kind of person who can state out loud exactly what it is that you want most, and YOU are the kind of person who is willing to describe your dream out loud (to yourself) & then write down just 20 ideas on how you would START to work towards making it happen, right? And, of course, you are living proof that this is the only day of your life in which you can show your excellence, right?
Whether you want to learn to juggle, or type fast, or get along better with your spouse or your kids/parents/co-workers/boss, etc.; or maybe you want to learn a new language, or a new career, or double your income in this next 12 months... No matter what it is that you want, I'm telling you, with an unconditional guarantee, that you can make 8 out of every 10 dreams come true or very close to true in 100 days or less.

Use the superpowerful shortcuts that are used by
every single top producer on this planet. The only reason there are shortcuts? &nsp;Because the world's top producers took entire lifetimes developing them through trial and error. We already know that humans are capable of achieving anything that they can conceive. It's not what you're able to do; it's all about what you're willing to do, in the next 60 seconds and the next 24 hours. Use your power to act in this most important minute of your life.

What you know means little to any of us;
what you DO with what you know fascinates us to the point of trying to be like you.
Use a piece of paper right now and list just five things you can do in the next weeks or months that would create an ideal life for you. Surely you have the brains to write five short answers on a piece of paper, don't you? Within seconds of the action, you'll see how productive a step you've just taken-- by quantifying your ideal life in five smaller, more manageable steps. Best of all, you can list your five pieces with utter confidence that, empirically speaking, this technique produces results that are better than what you're getting now.
  • You don't drive to the store without smaller steps getting there.
  • You can't get a glass of milk without smaller steps along the way.
  • You don't eat a serving of steak without cutting it into smaller pieces.
